I’m ready to turn your renovation or new build dream into a reality, with attention to detail and clearly walking you through every process of your build. With over 18 years of experience in residential construction, I understand your biggest investment shouldn't be your biggest stress, and building your new home should be fun and exciting!
I’m a small town boy originally from Te Aroha, where I did my apprenticeship with Phil McCarthy Builders in the year 2000. Where extensions and renovations were my main path of learning, I quickly also grasped my love for new builds and the fine art of chicken shed restorations (we’re not talking about the tiny coups - I mean the BIG 160m chicken houses)!
In 2006, I did what every great Kiwi does and ventured over to London for 8 years (some may call this an “extended stay”). I worked on house renovations, loft conversions, and high-end refurbishments in Maidia Vale, Mayfair, and Belgravia.
I moved back to New Zealand in 2015, where I took a job working for a good friend in Auckland. As a site foreman for Next Level Construct, I ran new builds and renovations on some very challenging sites - a house built on a 45 degree slope in Grey Lynn, accepting and executing last-minute architect changes in St Heliers, and learning how to build a house on volcanic rock in Sandringham. In 2016, I was awarded my first Gold Award at the Master Builder House of the Year Awards - the highlight of my career. I’ve worked with incredible clients, some very talented architects (Fabricate), and I look forward to working with you!
