If you want your garden to last into autumn, Nerines are the flower for you. They produce clusters of flowers in early summer, then die back and flower again in autumn. Each bulb typically produces 4-10 buds with a stalk length of approx 30-60 cm.

They like sunny, well-drained spots and enjoy direct sunlight. Keep them well-drained in pots, then you can bring them indoors when it gets too cold. 🪷

𝐇𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬 - 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 🌼
A particularly striking and curious species. The 20-30 cm high flower stem is studded at the top with two to four spider-like, softly scented white flowers with orange stamens spilling out. The leaves are remarkably short during flowering.🏵

🥀Hymenocallis (Hymenocallis x festalis) also known as 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐬, Spider Lily, and Peruvian Daffodil is a clump forming bulbous perennial. Flowering in Summer, the Hymenocallis flowers emerge before the foliage appears. Fragrant, trumpet shaped flowers with 6 narrow curing petals appear on tall sturdy flower spikes. Dark green strappy foliage grows and surrounds the flower spike. 🪻
