Harlequins Rugby – A Club for ALL

Based in Timaru, South Canterbury, Harlequins Rugby was formed in 1998 through the proud amalgamation of two stalwart local clubs – Zingari and Star.
Since then, we’ve celebrated many successes across rugby and netball, and proudly call ourselves the grassroots home of Black Ferns star Jorja Miller.

This year, our U13 Harlequins are carrying that proud tradition forward. Undefeated in their 2025 season, this diverse, spirited, and determined team has grown together since many first pulled on the jersey at age five.
They’ve built not only strong skills but an unbreakable bond, supporting each other on and off the field, win or lose.

Now, they’re set to represent our club and community at the Global Games in Queenstown – an incredible opportunity to showcase their talent, sportsmanship, and Harlequin pride.

We can’t wait to see them make memories (and hopefully history for our club!) on this awesome occasion.
