Dave's services stand out because of his careful attention to detail and deep engagement with the relevant project. He researched the type of wood, either adapting what we already had to create our rimu kitchen, or sourcing maple wood for our bedroom. His creative adaptive skills , his superb craftsmanship and attention to detail have made our house even more of a joy to live in. It is an uneven straw bale house requiring expert fitting of the joinery to the walls, which Dave excels at. He is receptive and cooperative and flexible.
The highlights were the installation of steps into the kitchen kick board so that I could reach the high overhead cupboards, and the spectacular bespoke bathroom adaptations.
This means that I have ease of access to the whole kitchen, and extra storage inside the kickboards should I need it. We also have a beautiful functional bathroom with interesting vanity units that are perfectly adapted to the space, and an excellent mirror vanity. It is a calm, functional space which is easy to keep clean and use.
I would indeed recommend Dave's services to anyone who is interested in interesting, exceptional custom made furniture. He will proceed mindfully and carefully to provide quality pieces that will be functional and provide joy for many years to come.

Such a great video Howard Butler Furniture Page.This is what set's cabinet making apart from 'joinery'. There is so much more to creating beautiful pieces, and not a CNC machine in sight! I had the pleasure of supporting Howard throughout his apprenticeship at Fine Furniture Design whilst working along some very esteemed cabinet makers.
