We were so excited when Paper4trees reached out to our nursery for plant supply and delivery. Seeing all the kids light up when they saw the results of their hard work was the absolute best!

We are so proud to be apart of Waiotira. Especially when we get to contribute to our local school❤️ great team work guys! Your recycling efforts did not go unnoticed and we hope you love the trees. Excellent job🌿🌏♻️

We had the most wonderful surprise this week! Our amazing neighbors just up the road at KiwiCan Natives Nursery (on Hilford Road) dropped off a beautiful delivery of native trees and shrubs for our school!

A massive thank you to Lucas and Megyn for their incredible support and for being such awesome members of our community. 🇳🇿✨

These plants are our reward for participating in the Paper4trees initiative! Throughout the year, our school collect, condense, and records all of our cardboard recycling. We share our totals with Paper 4 Trees team, and in return, we get to choose native trees to beautify our school grounds.

This project is so much more than just putting boxes out for collection. It teaches our students the vital importance of recycling, waste reduction, and taking responsibility for our planet. Our students are encouraged to help with this process each week.

For now we are keeping our new trees safe and well-watered while we decide how we want to best utilise them.

Thank you again to all those involved with this inititive for our school, it's much appreciated.

Meet our newest KiwiCan Natives team member Goose!🪿

Goose is a 1-3 year old rescue pup with the most gentle demeanor and funny personality.

You may meet Goose when you visit our nursery. He is very friendly with people and would love a cuddle. Please keep in mind he is still a young pup and currently learning his manners as our KiwiCan welcomer.

We are slowly introducing him to other dogs so please keep all pets in your car or on a leash while on site.
