The kids at Plateau School, Upper Hutt have done an amazing job with their very own tiny Forest / natural play space.

Completely designed and created by the kids, with just a tiny bit of guidance. Super proud of these young legends!!

We love spending time with the kids at Plateau School Upper Hutt.

The kids are incredible gardeners and we learn as much from them as they do from us.

It's an absolute joy and pleasure working with the kids to grow their own food, which they then harvest to make meals with and share together 🙏🏽❤️

Today's learning/observing hike is mini forests between the motorway and the river. The similarities and differences between vast dense bush lands to bush amongst the city scape.

Amazing learning curves for us, especially with one of our goals being bringing NZ wild into our backyards.

Had to get some close ups of a beautiful garden we planted a few years ago and look after with plenty of TLC.

The fragrant Rosemaries in flower and the bright Peregrinans bring in gorgeous colours amongst the gardens, adding some rich colour, texture and diversity through the winter months too.

An amazing hike up Tunnel Gully by Tane's track.
Researching and documenting fungi.

Learning about the fungal network beneath the forest floor and in our own gardens has been incredible and connecting so many dots. Heaps of wow moments 🙏🏽

Bringing it all together for projects to come. ☺️
