The only downside to having such a full book of work on, is sometimes we forget to post photos and feedback from the wonderful properties and people we work with. Today I was out in khandallah signing off with our lovely client Jan. I was greeted with a selection of freshly picked fruit from her garden and a printed testimonial, which she asked me to share. This is on top of feedback throughout the project like “your team are absolute perfect gentlemen”, “I can’t get over how far you go and the quality of work you do”, and “I’m very very very very VERY happy.”

Thanks Jan for being a treasure to work with and asking me to share your kind words, and thanks as always to our team for the sterling work they do. Another great job guys 👍 👏 🏆 ✅

A few before and after shots today - the interior is of a project we just completed today in Island Bay. The exterior highlights the ‘before’ and ‘after’ difference staining makes on our just completed project in Seatoun Heights. Then it was back to the office to take in more colour ideas in the latest issue from our friends at Resene.

Outside projects are often easier to photograph, but today we are highlighting some of the interior work we do.

As winter approaches, most of our work is indoors. We cover everything from bathrooms, bedrooms or window projects right through to full interiors of houses and new builds/alterations/reno’s. Here’s a little project we completed in a bathroom this week.

Here’s a few snaps of a new project we are currently working on in Wadestown. We previously painted a renovation here about four years ago. In almost twelve years of business, this is one of my absolute favourite homes we’ve worked on, so it’s lovely to be back. As you can see, the views might have something to do with that, but our wonderful client is a big part of it too.

It’s been a busy summer and we knew we’d forgotten something - that’s right, no updates for you all on the projects we’ve been doing!

Looking back through our schedule, we’ve worked at 31 different properties so far this year. So here’s a selection of pics from projects over the past month or two in Newtown, Khandallah, Miramar, Lyall Bay, Grenada, Wadestown, Seatoun, Brooklyn and Roseneath. Phew!

All of us at Pure Painting are right behind our Kiwis at the Commonweath Games, but we’ve been paying particular attention to swimming sensation Lewis Clareburt. Lewis is the nephew of our head foreman Ewen. 2 gold Medals in the pool with another event still to come - keep doing your thing Lewis!

Well it’s taken us 11 years to say yes to doing a project in Kapiti (it’s a long way from Lyall Bay!) but this project in Waikanae is going to look fantastic when finished. Standing outside under the feijoa tree with fantails trying to land on my shoulder today, I couldn’t help thinking it’s going to be a pretty amazing place to live for the owners too. Almost done now…

We have recently completed painting the interior of this beautiful property in Island Bay. We are blessed to work with a lot of wonderful clients at Pure Painting, and this amazing family were definitely ones we will remember. The whole team loved working on this one, and can't wait to work with them again on their new property.
