When it comes to sections, some are harder to envisage a house on than others. This is especially the case for infill sites like this 603m2 example in Greytown, where the established garden can make it harder to spot its potential. Working around some of the larger specimen trees, we designed a 218m2 concept to show just what can be achieved here - privacy from the street, a secluded NW facing outdoor area, and plenty of natural light. On Friday we attended the Architectural Designers New Zealand National Design Awards in Rotorua where two of our projects were finalists. We were honoured to walk away with a National Award for our work on Mrs Blackwell’s Village Bookshop in Greytown Village. There was such a huge amount of talent in the room and we were proud to be amongst it. Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to ADNZ for putting together the whole awards programme. A big thanks of course goes to Mrs Blackwell herself for entrusting us with bringing her vision to life, and to Kirsty Stephenson for capturing it with her beautiful photos.
