When I was younger, I loved giving gifts. I'll plan and prepare ahead of time to make sure I don't miss anything...or anyone. I'll do a list of people and stuff, make sure they are wrapped neatly and sent on time.

As I grew older and got busy with other things, this became harder to maintain. While I still love giving gifts, recently though, I don't take as much time to prepare and it even wasn't a routine anymore...like every Christmas or birthdays.

I have come to give gifts at random or unexpected moments still taking as much thought to prepare something the receiving end can appreciate and use. And whenever I can or the occasion calls for it, write some personalized note to go with the gift. Still making sure the presents are more than presentable and that they get sent out timely.

Got the candle a week or 2 ago, thought of the message for some time, and finally got em written and wrapped today.

Finally got this one up. Bought it online ready to assemble a few months back. Should've just followed package instructions but I just had to glam it up a bit...reinforced screws with glue and Brad nails, evened out edges and joints with some putty, sanded a little and finally, painted it shiny black. Then, up that little bathroom corner it went. Done. Dusted. Installed.
