The Golden Pothos, or the Epipremnum aureum, is native to Southeast Asia. It has the reputation of being one of the easiest houseplants to take care of. Its common name, Pothos, comes from the genus is was once classified under: Pothos aureus. The Golden Pothos is known for its heart-shaped green leaves with variegation in yellow. In the wild, it is known to overgrow forest floors and tree trunks due to its aerial root system. In good indoor conditions, you can expect the Golden Pothos to trail to 10 feet long. The Pothos is particularly fitting for indoor settings because it is able to filter gaseous toxins like formaldehyde from the air.

Alocasia Black Velvet

Beautiful dark velvet leaves are the standout highlights of Alocasia Black Velvet. A must if you want to be better than every other green thumb out there. He is a smaller tropical elephant ear that loves warm, moist areas and does well indoors.
Black Velvet is a dwarf Alocasia and has dark, almost black leaves, adorned with brilliant silvery-white veins and velvety look makes for a strikingly beautiful plant. The underneath colour throws off a purple tone. Anthurium-like flowers are produced throughout the year when growing conditions are favourable. These consist of a sterile, finger-like floral column (spadix) surrounded by a pale green petal-like leaf (spathe).

🌿 Spiderman Monstera / Amydrium medium 🌿

Amydrium medium is a climbing, evergreen perennial that prefers medium light levels. Unusually for these types of tropical aroids, these climb less than 4 m, making it suitable to be grown as a houseplant.

This tropical plant uses its roots to climb trunks of surrounding trees in its native locations from Myanmar to Indonesia. Occasionally young plants have been confused with Rhaphidophora tetrasperma; however, A. medium leaves spread out while the former's overlap each other.
