βOur goal is to screen all Filipino newborns for early detection and management of several congenital metabolic disorders, which, if left untreated, may lead to mental retardation and/or death.

Through the Newborn Screening Continuity Clinic, we ensure that babies diagnosed with conditions through newborn screening receive the necessary ongoing care and support. The clinics provide a structured pathway for managing diagnosed conditions, offering specialized medical care, treatment plans, and regular follow-ups to monitor the childβs development and adjust treatment as needed. It plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between early diagnosis and long-term management, ensuring that children not only survive but thrive.
