Thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on this post ⬇️
Please know that I shared this not to shame anyone, but to seek clarification and understanding, as I am not currently residing in the said area.
I sincerely appreciate those who informed me that there is a barangay ordinance requiring permission from the Barangay Captain before installing a Piso WiFi unit at home.
May this post also serve as a reminder to all Piso WiFi owners to be mindful of and compliant with the barangay’s rules and regulations. Let us continue to uphold respect, proper coordination, and cooperation within our community.
As a daughter, it truly pains me to see my mother, who is already struggling financially, having to spend her hard-earned money just to buy electrical supplies. Lisod kaayo ang life so hopefully this post is makaabot sa tag-iya sa wifi na mabutang konta sa balay. I will try my best also to contact them.
Please also note that there is no existing law stating that it is illegal or that residents are required to ask permission from anyone in the area before installing a Piso WiFi in their own homes.
