Revisiting one of our favorite designs.
Though this didn’t make it past the concept plan stage due to a change of plans—one of us is now studying abroad, and I’m planning to join as well—it still holds a special place in our hearts. This was supposed to be our personal tiny home. 🏡
It starts with an A-frame front and a concrete core structure at the back. Entering the property, you walk on stone steppers with ground cover, surrounded by native plants and vegetation. 🌿
There's a small cutout on the porch for a feature tree with underplanting. On the left side, a gravel path lined with small upright trees leads to a timber screen that encloses the backyard, where our dogs and cats would have free roam to play. 🐾
Stepping inside, everything is bespoke, modular, and purposefully designed—even the stair/ladder to the loft doubles as cabinetry. A full glass window at the front brings in natural light and ventilation. The kitchen is modular too, with access to a gravel area featuring raised vegetable garden beds. 🌱
Who knows? Maybe someday, somewhere, this dream will turn into reality.
