Here’s our jade plant care instructions.🌱🌱🌱

Jade plants are succulents (they hold water in their leaves) so they don't do well when sitting in constantly moist soil, so let the top 1 to 2 inches of soil dry out between waterings. Indoors, this will probably mean watering once every 2 to 3 weeks but be sure to check regularly! Young jade plants should only be exposed to bright, indirect light to prevent leaf scorching. Well established jade plants can tolerate and thrive with four or more hours of sunlight each day. They are best in a room with south facing windows.🌞

Crassula argentea and crassula ovata. Commonly known as jade plant, lucky plant, money plant or money tree.

"Where should you place a jade plant in your house?"

>Jade plants can be grown indoors and outdoors. It is better to keep this plant in front of the office or in the office cubicle to invite good fortune and prosperity. When placed in southeast it attracts energized monetary luck for good business or more income.

"Do jade plants like small pots?"
>Jade plants (Crassula argentea) are notoriously top-heavy, but they like to be pot-bound in small containers. ... Without the right container, the plant could tip over or suffer moisture problems from too much or too little soil. Ceramic may help with some of these, but its not without problems of its own.

"How do I make my jade plant bushy?"
>Prune the jade plant just above one of the brown rings around a stem, called a leaf scar, with sharp pruning shears or a sharp knife. Two new stems will sprout at the pruning site, so select the stem to prune based on where you want the jade plant to be thicker and fuller.

:How often should you water succulents in hot weather?
>If your succulents are outside or in a greenhouse during the summer, you will want to water them about once a week. The soil should approach dryness, but not stay dry for long periods of time.

:Do succulents grow better in sun or shade?
>Succulents love light and need about six hours of sun per day, depending on the type of succulent. Newly planted succulents can scorch in direct sunlight, so you may need to gradually introduce them to full sun exposure or provide shade with a sheer curtain

:How long can succulents go without water?
>Usually, small homegrown succulents can be watered once or twice a week (every 3 days). They can withstand dry condition up to 2 weeks without any apparent sign of stress. Between 2–4 weeks without watering, the plant might begin to shed unnecessary overgrowth like excess branches leaves, or thorns.

:How long do succulents live?
>By understanding the basic core needs of succulent plants, you can expect to have them with you for many years. The lifespan will depend on the type of succulent you have. Some greenhouse succulents can live for decades, while others may enjoy a 6 or 8 year lifespan with proper care

:How often should I water my outdoor succulents?
>Succulents like it when soil approaches dry before being watered. But what does this mean, you ask? It means you'll likely be A-OK if, during dry times, if you water small pots about once a week and large pots about every two weeks.

:How long should succulent soil stay wet?
>Don't water if the soil is wet! If it takes 2 weeks for the soil to dry, then water in 2 weeks. If it takes 2 days for the soil to dry, then you can water in 2 days! Succulents should be watered generously in the summer as described above, BUT soil should be allowed to completely dry between watering!!

:How do succulents survive with little water?
>Succulents have evolved a number of strategies for holding onto this water. They tend to have a thick waxy coating, which helps seal in moisture. All plants are covered by tiny pores called stomates, which allow plants to take in gasses for photosynthesis. However, these pores also allow water to be lost

:Can a succulent come back from overwatering?
>Yes. Majority of the time an overwatered plant do bounce back with proper care and treatment. And even if the plant has succumbed to rot, some parts of it can still be saved. A leaf or a small stem can be saved and propagated to start a new plant.
