🧀 Creamiest Cheesy Penne Pasta
🛒 Ingredients:
• 500g penne pasta
• 2 tbsp butter
• 4 cloves garlic (minced)
• 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 2 cups fresh milk (full cream for extra richness)
• 1 cup all-purpose cream
• 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
• ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
• ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
• ¼ cup parmesan cheese (optional but elevates flavor 😉)
• Salt & pepper to taste
• ½ tsp paprika (optional)
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• Optional: cooked chicken, bacon, or mushrooms

1. Cook the pasta
• Boil penne in salted water until al dente
• Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain
2. Make the creamy base
• In a pan, melt butter over medium heat
• Sauté garlic until fragrant (not burnt!)
• Add flour → whisk for 1 minute (this makes it thick & silky)
3. Pour the liquids
• Slowly add milk while whisking (to avoid lumps)
• Add all-purpose cream → simmer until slightly thick
4. Add the CHEESE 🧀
• Lower heat, then add:
• cheddar
• mozzarella
• cream cheese
• parmesan
• Stir until fully melted and smooth
5. Season it
• Add salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning

6. Combine
• Add cooked penne

• Add a bit of reserved pasta water if needed (for extra creaminess)
