๐ฃCOMPETITION LAUNCHING SOON๐ฃ
This coming 2026, let your ideas be heard. Architects can reimagine what emergency shelters could be beyond survival.
The United Architects of the Philippines - District C1 invites registered and licensed architects to propose a rapidly deployable, cost-effective, and resilient shelter solution intended for mass displacement scenarios following natural disasters or humanitarian crises. The goal is to create a dignified, secure, and climate-responsive living environment that can be produced, transported, assembled, stored, reused, and responsibly retired at scale.
โฌ๏ธ TEMPORARY SHELTER CATEGORY โฌ๏ธ

These must have a minimum length of 2.00 meters and a maximum of 3.00 meters to accommodate a living space for a family of 4-5, offer adequate headroom, and include visual and acoustic privacy. These must have modular systems that maximize the number of shelters transported in a standard 40-ft container.
โฌ๏ธ TRANSITIONAL SHELTER CATEGORY โฌ๏ธ
Transitional Shelters must be between 15.00sq.m. to 20.00sq.m. Designs should support basic utilities, safe cooking/heating practices, and allow users to personalize or reconfigure the interior.
