THE SHATTERED KUBO
​Tradition, Deconstructed.
​What happens when you "shatter" the silhouette of the Philippine icon? This 2-storey residence trades the traditional box for Tropical Deconstructivism.
​The Concept: An "exploded" Bahay Kubo that embraces chaos to find better airflow.
​The Form: Fragmented rooflines and jagged cantilevers that create deep, functional shadows.
​The Soul: Raw concrete, reclaimed timber, steel and geometric capiz shards.
​We didn't just build a house; we broke a tradition to let the architecture breathe.
