The local government of Taguig officially turned over the newest and high-tech computer laboratory called Multimedia Arts Cyberlab or MAClab under the Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) Program during the ceremonial turnover and ribbon-cutting held at the school grounds of Diosdado Macapagal National High School, Signal Village National High School, Taguig Science High School and R. Papa High School on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A project of Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano and DepEd - Division of Taguig City and Pateros, each MAClab houses 26 units of iMac which aims to equip students with 21st Century skills including media literacy and technology literacy.
This January, 10 MAClabs will be officially launched inside 10 Senior High Schools in Taguig in order to provide a better venue for students to be globally competitive in the tech world.
