A deep content exhale… is how this one made me react as I did a twilight walk-through, after a few months of turning this over to our Client. We agreed that saving most of her existing plants which laid under construction conditions for 2 years were worth saving & extending patience to — and hence the organic mash-up and total lushness today. The rains helped the grow-in and the recovered plants are ready to be properly pruned in the coming week.

Working within a site’s current boundaries.

I love garden renovations because each of us will read a space differently. The possibilities are endless — we can show that one option is just as amazing a transformation as the other when you can see your space with ‘new eyes’. Here we install a deck to maximize the pleasant atmosphere under the canopy of mature trees. The organic shape of the deck was dictated by the tree size & location, making it an unusual and free-form shape. Looking forward to seeing this in full function & completion 💚 🛠🪚

Rush projects are doable — the holiday season and the closing of the year brings a bevy of work that stretches us to our limits and capabilities. Our biggest hope is that we wind down and have that tired fulfilled smile of being able to deliver a trully merry and hope-filled outdoor space for your families to gather in.

We imagine that this Christmas season will have a very different perspective for each and every person, but we hope that the handiwork of our team will be an easy sigh of relief for all the months of unease we’ve faced.

Time is a healer as they say — as seen in a two-week difference of this Red Banaba tree that was planted under stressful conditions…. Life wins here. 🍂🍃🍂🌿
