Today we released the first of our 4 butterflies 🦋💛 Go fly, little yellow butterfly!

So grateful that Ate Anya and Kyro get to experience the joy of raising caterpillars and watching them turn into butterflies, even while living in the city. 🌿✨

🐛 We have 4 new Cathies today!
Ate Anya believes they’re the babies of Sun, the yellow butterfly we raised last month. 🦋💛

We found them happily munching on our calamansi leaves, but had to gently move them, or else they’d either be eaten by birds… or eat the entire plant! 😅🌿

What makes it extra special?
Kyro LOVES caring for Cathies, from feeding them to watching them turn into butterflies. He even helped release Sun when it was time to fly. 🥹✨ His favorite story is The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

Funny thing is… I used to be scared of caterpillars and bugs.
But ever since we started balcony gardening, that fear turned into curiosity, care, and connection with nature. 💚

Now bugs are part of our daily life and a huge part of the kids’ learning, too.

🌿 Ate Anya harvested some basil today, perfect timing for their pizza-making activity! 🍕😄
