AVIV | Façade Design Project
“Delayed in time, perfected in design, a vision realized at its rightful moment.”

A structure that stood for years without its moment, until the right time finally arrived. Aviv Project is a story of patience and transformation, where a long-waiting form is reimagined into its fullest expression.

Though its original design had long faded, we found beauty in what remained. Balancing a symmetrical body with an asymmetrical roof became the challenge and the opportunity at the same time. Through thoughtful materiality and proportion, we shaped harmony from contrast. Because in truth, there is no such thing like perfect timing or perfect design, only the vision to see its potential and bring out the beauty in everything.

ZIA
“Where love found its light, and light found its home.”

The house is inspired by the word ZIA, meaning light and brightness, the essence that guided its design. A modern approach is expressed through light tones, complemented by light-colored wood accents and subtle stone textures that bring warmth and balance. These elements create a calm and luminous atmosphere, allowing natural light to shape the spaces and give the home a sense of openness and quiet elegance.

Where love found its light, and light found its home. More than just a house, ZIA is a place where memories are created and life gently unfolds. It is a home built with meaning, a space where love brings light to everyday moments, turning simple living into a bright and lasting beginning.

Samgyup San Luis
“Every flavor is intentional, every sight a discovery.”

Samgyup San Luis stands as my very first project as a licensed architect. A milestone shaped by urgency, trust, and creative courage. What began as a rush project quickly became an opportunity to redefine what a Korean restaurant could be. This was never meant to be a typical samgyupsal place, but something new.
While honoring my clients’ vision, I proposed something bolder: a fusion of Korean warmth and Japanese restraint. From this idea, a distinct identity emerged. A space where the richness of Korean dining meets the calm, refined elegance of Japanese design.
The result is a restaurant that satisfies more than just hunger. It offers an experience where flavors fill the stomach and architecture captivates the eyes, turning every meal into a moment worth remembering.

Casa y’ Caridad Series

Chapter 1: “Capasngauàn” Grand Piano Hall
Kapampangan word which means a space where pain softened and hope begins again.

Casa y’ Caridad Grand Piano Hall is more than an exercise in design. It is also a space shaped by sound. Every major gesture and subtle detail are intentionally crafted with acoustics at its core, ensuring that form and function resonate as one. From spatial proportions to material choices, each element is acoustically purposeful and carefully considered. This hall is conceived not merely as a venue, but as a refined home for a grand piano, where sound is honored, amplified with clarity, and allowed to breathe. The result is a masterpiece defined not only by what we see, but by what we hear.

As a tribute to a loving mother, we present Casa y’ Caridad Main Building: “Capasngauàn” Grand Piano Hall. Born from love, memory, and quiet reverence. Within its walls, the grand piano does more than play; it speaks with emotion, echoing moments of tenderness, strength, and unconditional love. Where architecture becomes remembrance, and music becomes a lasting expression of gratitude.

The Preliminary Design Briefing and Concept Presentation now mark the beginning of something truly meaningful. Our heartfelt gratitude to you, Doc Ramil, Sir Vin and Ma’am Alma, for entrusting HACU Architects with your vision and for sharing your inspiring ideas and insights. It is a privilege to collaborate with individuals whose dreams resonate with clarity and purpose.

When architecture meets music, space is no longer silent, it begins to breathe, to move, to echo with rhythm and harmony. In that meeting of structure and sound, walls become melodies, and every corner carries the promise of a beautiful symphony yet to unfold.

"Ikigai Villas" is one of the very first projects I worked on when I became an architectural apprentice at JCN Ground Designs. More than a project, it became a turning point, one that helped me rediscover my passion for architecture and gave me the courage to begin carving my own path.

Inspired by the meaning of Ikigai "one’s reason for living" this project reflects the idea that architecture is not merely about form and function, but about purpose. It is about creating spaces that give meaning, spark motivation, and quietly shape the lives lived within them.

Ikigai Villas reminded me why I chose this profession in the first place: to design with intention, to build with empathy, and to create environments that inspire people to live fully and meaningfully. This project stands as a foundation not only of structures but of values that continue to guide our practice today.
