FAISALABAD October 31, 2025: Literary Society, Department of English & Linguistics, Faculty of Arts & Humanities at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) successfully organized a webinar titled "English for Research and Publication Purposes (ERPP)" via Google Meet. The resource person for the event was "Dr. Naveed ur Rehman Khattak, Associate Professor at the Department of English, Air University, Islamabad. Dr. Khattak emphasized the importance of mastering academic English to enhance clarity and impact in research writing. He highlighted key strategies for structuring research papers effectively and advised participants on common pitfalls to avoid academic publishing. The webinar attracted around 150 students and researchers, who actively engaged during the session by posing relevant and thoughtful questions, enriching the overall discussion. Other notable speakers included Dr. Asim Aqeel, Chairman of the Department of English and Linguistics at UAF, Dr. Atta-ul-Mustafa, Incharge of the Literary Society, as well as Ms. Aisha Koukab and Rana Kashif Shakeel, who contributed valuable insights during the discussions. The session was marked by effective interactions between the speakers and participants, creating a productive learning environment for research writing and publication strategies.
