90 days progress of a 10 marla house construction. In just 90 days, we have finished our 10 marla house structure. Not only the structure, we have also almost completed all the underground electrical piping, plumbing work, PVC and PPR piping.

We have also installed electrical boxes, AC copper piping, and drain pipes. Now we are going for the plaster work. In one and a half months, we will finish the gray structure.

Construction work update of our 1 kanal project in D-12/3 Islamabad.

The first floor shuttering is almost near completion. After that, we will do our steel work. Along with that, our basement plaster is completed, and ground floor plaster work is in progress.

A very important point that most people ignore while building a house.

This point is very small, but if it is not done right before finishing the house, it will have a huge negative impact on the beauty of your house.

It is about electrical boxes.

Before plaster work, we install electrical boxes, power plug boxes, etc. in the walls. Most people just install them but don’t level them and don’t check the height of the switches from the finished floor level.

When the house is finished and switchboards are installed, they look uneven. Some are slightly rotated, one switchboard is at 4 feet, and another is at a different height.

So while installing the electrical boxes, check their level first using a hand level tool.

Then check their bottom level from the finished floor and make sure all the boxes are at the same height.

In most houses, the major mistake that 80% of people make is that they don’t install AC copper piping and drain pipes before the gray structure.

Then they have to either break the wall or make a hole in the wall to let the AC pipe go through. Later on, that hole creates cracks in the wall and becomes the main reason for seepage.

Or they have to install the AC outdoor unit on the front or façade of the house, which kills the whole vibe of the house.

Or they have to again cut the plaster to install the AC piping. Even most contractors don’t tell them to install the piping during the gray structure and leave it for later.

AC piping is very important. Doing it at the right time also makes the walls look clean and protects you from afterward hurdles.

Our 1 Kanal house in D-12/3, Islamabad is officially taking shape as we turn design into reality.

The brick masonry on the first floor is nearly finished, and we are moving quickly to stay ahead of our schedule. Having already completed the underground plumbing, electrical conduits, and AC piping of the basement and ground floor, we have shifted our focus to the interior finishes.

The plastering of the basement is now complete, and work is currently progressing on the ground-floor plaster. By managing the upper-floor construction and lower-floor finishes simultaneously, we are ensuring this home is completed well before the deadline.
