Creating pockets of joy and exploration all over the nursery. A treehouse structure allows for play choices, climb up and story tell or go under and cook.

Warm wood finishes and neutral colours for the shell allowed for all the playscapes to take over in colour and shapes.

"Fire, fire", says the Town Crier

When you have a huge riser duct on site, what do you do? You make it into a wonder wall.
A riser duct within a building is a vertical shaft used to distribute utilities, an absolute necessity for the efficient functioning of the building but what an eyesore!

We camouflaged the riser to resemble a fire station building, complete with a fire hose cabinet, fire extinguishers and fire trucks.

What does a space for toddlers need? Lots of love, design details that pique their interest and elements of wonder that spark their curiosity.

The love and emotional investment came from a lovely client who imagines unique spaces for the several nursery spaces she takes up and runs between Islamabad and Doha.

Designed as an imagination playground, the limitations on site like columns and risers were turned into elements; trees, fire station facade and farmer's market.

Towellers Factory Experience

A Spatial nexus, a circular display for plush towels and bathrobes.

The oculus in the center is designed to feel like a puncture in the otherwise solid ceiling to give the illusion of daylight.

Towellers Factory Experience

The concept for this 8000 sq.ft merchandise experience, within a textile and towel factory, was to design a textile landscape to showcase to foreign clients.

This was done using left over fabric from the factory to create textile art juxtaposing it against sweeping, curvilinear forms and age-old stained concrete floor.

The textile weave was re-imagined as a metal mesh for displaying products and the colours were inspired by the mossy mangroves of the city by the sea.

Delighted to be part of the team of architects who put the Pursukoon Karachi, Sheher e funn festival together at the Governor House last weekend. The corner stone of the design was sustainable production with the entire set up centered around the re use of materials. Each pavilion, designed by an individual team of architects came together in the gorgeous governor house gardens. A challenging material pallette was set for each team to work with, pushing designers to creatively fulfill their requirements and set up using re usable, cost effective materials like scaffolding pipes, used block printing fabric, recycled plastics and panels etc under a tensile canopy. The result was a beautiful event enjoyed by adults and children alike. .
We would like to appreciate the enormous team effort this set up entailed with a dedicated team of architects and craftsman who toiled for weeks to make this a fantastic experience for the city.
