*Alhamdulillah!*
The 1st 2026 Meeting of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Handicrafts Business Promotion, convened by *Ms. Ayesha* *Farooqui,* along with *Deputy* *Conveners Ms* . *Fatima Touqeer and* *Ms. Asma* *Aamir,* was successfully held.
The meeting was attended by committee members present in Lahore as well as representatives from all provinces and regions of Pakistan, who participated actively via Zoom. It proved to be a highly productive and insightful session, during which meaningful discussions were held on the promotion and development of Pakistan’s handicrafts sector, with particular emphasis on artisans, skills development, capacity building, market access, and future collaborative initiatives.
We were also honored by the presence of our *Special Guests, Mr.* *Usman Arshad* *and Ms.* *Tahira Naseem,* whose participation and valuable insights added great value to the meeting.
We extend our sincere gratitude to *Ms. Qurrat-ul-Ain,* *Vice President* *FPCCI,* for her valuable guidance and continued support. Our special thanks also go to *Mr* . *Zaki Aijaz,* *Vice President* *FPCCI,* all respected committee members, our distinguished special guests, and every participant for their active engagement and valuable contributions, which made this meeting a resounding success.
We look forward to working collectively to further strengthen Pakistan’s handicrafts industry through future training programs, workshops, exhibitions, and collaborative efforts.
