Why is it hard to let go of someone we love, even after heartbreak?
Love is a deep bond that does not change based on circumstances or a person’s actions. This is why, even when someone breaks our heart, we continue to love them and find it difficult to let go.
When we have to let go of someone, it can be challenging to accept the situation. Because we have loved the other person with all our heart, it’s hard to understand that they could disregard our love and hurt us. Whether the reasons are circumstantial, a betrayal, or a simple lack of interest in the relationship, if the other person wants to move on and doesn't change their mind even after you've expressed your feelings, it’s better to accept reality and let them go.
Allow yourself to express your emotions, and open your heart to those you trust. However, gather your strength and remind yourself that, although that person may have meant a lot to you, if they have left you feeling alone in the dark, you haven’t done anything wrong by deciding to let them go.
