Anthurium crystallinum albo-variegata, one of my prized purchase this year, unlike the normal variegated which is aurea version, this one seems to turn real white when the leaf hardens, the variegation pattern also has resemblances to the popular bulbasaur feel don’t you think? Hope to cross it soon when it has inflorescence.

Not sponsored but I got this knife from , origin from . Great knife to cut smooth edges without any bruise damage to the plant unlike using a scissor. For a thick stem like monstera you will need slightly more strength but still can be done with its crazy sharp edge.

Anthurium papillilaminum variegated X luxurians, it’s a reverted top cutting, surprisingly grew back a leaf of variegation, can only hope it continues doing this. Variegated seedling does come with high risk of reverting, be warned.

Anthurium ‘Blue papillilaminum’ from Indonesia, when it is young it has a blue sheen and narrow dagger like leaf, it gets wider and just darker when it’s more mature. There are many self cross or f2 and f3 in the market, but I seldom see it as nice as the original, thus it is unlikely a species. Still one of my favorite anthurium.

Anthurium ‘red spider’, its with me for more than a year, paid premium for a cutting. Finally showing its unique mature characteristics. The juvenile leaf form pales in comparison. It is a rather difficult anthurium, always in distress, I believe it requires a rather cool temperature to be happy. Do you have a red spider?
