Sometimes a home feels small not because of size, but because everything stops the eye too quickly.

For this project, we opened up the kitchen, added mirrors to bounce light through the space, and introduced a curved wall that naturally draws the eye towards the windows.

The whole home ended up feeling far more open without actually increasing the square footage.

The kitchen is where food is made lovingly. So why not make your kitchen walls something you love?

Here are some projects that we worked on that allowed our clients to feel joy while cooking.

1. Floral tiled pattern
A muted grey base paired with floral motifs.
Soft, calm, and enduring—pattern without visual noise.

2. Handmade tiles
Handmade tiles add an artisanal feel.
Subtle texture, quiet character, and never too polished.

3. Black glass backsplash
Easy to clean, highly practical.
Bonus: write on it with a whiteboard marker to add personality.

4. Peranakan tile accent
A little goes a long way.
We love using Peranakan tiles as an accent—enough to charm, not overwhelm.

5. Muted pink mosaic
Delicate, tactile, and softly expressive.

For this home in Dawson, we carefully planned the layout to make space for an ensuite bathtub, proving that luxury is possible even within an HDB footprint.

To balance the budget, we saved on built-in carpentry by using curtains and fixtures from IKEA. Thoughtful choices like these allowed us to focus on what mattered most to the homeowner.

We believe that with smart planning and intentional design, you can live luxuriously in an HDB.

This open-plan kitchen was designed around how our client actually lives.

She loves hosting but doesn’t do heavy cooking, so we created a layout that flows effortlessly: a bar table that joins the dining area and sofa, allowing friends to sit wherever they like while staying connected in the same space.

The grey palette keeps it classic and luxurious, while the cream sofa softens the mood and adds warmth.

Good design is about lifestyle first.
