With great honour, I’m pleased to share that I have been selected by URA and their esteemed panel of jurors for the 4th edition “20Under45” to celebrate young and emerging registered architects in Singapore. This coveted list of local talents has showcased distinctive style, out-of-box thinking and creative commitment in Singapore and internationally. 20Under45 is a celebration of the diverse, evolving creative community we have and the incredible value it holds.
This recognition holds deep meaning for me—not only because of its significance in the architectural community, but also because many of the architects who have inspired me, including my former boss and mentor Siew Man Kok, were part of the 1st 20 under 45 edition.
I do not take this accolade lightly. It serves as an encouragement to continue producing work that reflects and honours Singapore’s rich and diverse architectural landscape. More importantly, I hope to use this platform to inspire the next generation of architects, just as I have been inspired by those who came before me.
