The briefing: Design and build a most sustainable production facility as a new “Lighthouse Project” for this industry. Key issues: sustainability, recycling, efficiency, productivity, work environment.

With this in mind the new Grohe plant is now the most sustainable of its kind in Southeast Asia with official DGNB silver certification. Photovoltaic-Systems reduce CO2 emissions, waste water is biologically treated. Another special sustainability feature of the new production site is its green resting areas inside and outside the plant.
