Modern yaşam insanları aynı şehirde yaşarken bile birbirinden uzaklaştırabiliyor. Belki de geleceğin mimarisi yalnızca daha teknolojik değil, insanları yeniden bir araya getiren yaşamlar tasarlamakla ilgili olacak.

Ortak avluların, küçük meydanların ve birlikte olma hissinin yeniden değer kazandığı şehirler… Çünkü belki geleceğin gerçek lüksü daha fazla yalnızlık değil, aidiyet hissi olacak.
Ve belki bir gün biri şöyle diyecek:
“Burada eski bayramlardan bir şey kalmış.”

Modern life can distance people from one another, even while living in the same city. Perhaps the architecture of the future will not only be more technological, but also focused on bringing people together again.

Cities where shared courtyards, small public squares, and togetherness regain their value… Because perhaps the true luxury of the future will not be more isolation, but a sense of belonging.
And perhaps one day someone will say:
“There’s still something left here from the old holidays.”

Modern yaşamın hızında, insanın kendini ait hissedebileceği mekânlar yaratmak mümkün mü?

Stuttgart Villa projesi, FABRIKACO’nun her aşamasında hayalin gerçeğe dönüştüğü özel bir tasarım yolculuğunu temsil ediyor. Yaşam alışkanlıklarından ve estetik beklentilerden ilham alınarak şekillenen proje; konsept eskizlerden 3D modellere, malzeme seçimlerinden ince detaylara kadar bütünsel bir yaklaşımla tasarlandı.

Ahşap, taş, metal ve camın dengeli birlikteliğiyle dört kata yayılan sofistike bir atmosfer oluşturuldu. Her detay, zamansız bir yaşam deneyimi yaratmak için titizlikle düşünüldü.

Is it possible to create spaces where people can truly feel a sense of belonging within the fast pace of modern life?

The Stuttgart Villa project represents a unique design journey by FABRIKACO, where imagination transforms into reality at every stage. Inspired by lifestyle habits and aesthetic expectations, the project was shaped through a holistic approach from conceptual sketches and 3D models to material selections and refined details.

With the balanced combination of wood, stone, metal, and glass, a sophisticated atmosphere was created across four floors. Every detail was carefully crafted to offer a timeless living experience.

Koyu tonlar, sıcak dokular ve detaylarda saklı bir denge… Mekânın karakterini yalnızca büyük tasarımlar değil, malzeme seçimi, ışık kurgusu ve yüzey ilişkileri belirler. Ahşabın derinliği, krem tonlarının yumuşaklığı ve pirinç dokunuşlar bir araya geldiğinde zamansız bir atmosfer ortaya çıkar.

Dark tones, warm textures and balance hidden in the details… A space is defined not only by large design decisions but also by materials, lighting and the dialogue between surfaces. The depth of wood, soft cream tones and brass accents come together to create a timeless atmosphere.

Mimarlık yalnızca yapıları değil, yaşam biçimlerini de yansıtır. Geçmişte ağır, gösterişli ve kalıcı detaylar öne çıkarken; bugün sade, esnek ve kullanıcı odaklı çözümler tercih ediliyor. Çünkü modern mimarlık artık kendini göstermekten çok, kullanıcıya hissettirdiği deneyimle değer kazanıyor. Geleceğin tasarımı ise geçmişin ruhunu koruyarak yeniyi üretme cesaretinde saklı.

Architecture reflects not only buildings, but also ways of living. While bold, ornate, and long-lasting details once stood out, today simpler, more flexible, and user-focused solutions are preferred. Modern architecture no longer gains value by showcasing itself, but through the experience it creates for its users. The design of the future lies in the courage to create something new while preserving the spirit of the past.

Bu sayı, serimizin 3. yazısı. Bu kez mimarlığın kurallarını yeniden yazan bir ismin dünyasına gidiyoruz: Frank Gehry. Peki ya Gehry, Eyfel Kulesi, Piramitler ya da Tac Mahal gibi ikonik yapıları tasarlasaydı? Kusursuz simetriler yerini parçalanan yüzeylere, akışkan formlara ve yaşayan heykelleri andıran yapılara bırakabilir miydi? Çünkü bazen mimarlık, yapının kendisinden çok onu hayal eden zihnin izlerini taşır.

This issue marks the third article in our series. This time, we step into the world of a name who redefined the rules of architecture: Frank Gehry. But what if Gehry had designed iconic structures like the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids, or the Taj Mahal? Could perfect symmetry give way to fragmented surfaces, fluid forms, and structures resembling living sculptures? Because sometimes architecture carries not only the identity of the structure itself, but also the traces of the mind imagining it.

Berlin, II. Dünya Savaşı sonrası yalnızca fiziksel olarak değil, mimari hafızasıyla da yeniden inşa edildi. Doğu ve Batı’nın farklı ideolojileri, kentin sokaklarında iki ayrı mimari dil oluşturdu. Bugün ise Berlin, geçmişin izlerini silmeden farklı dönemleri aynı şehir dokusunda bir araya getiriyor.

Berlin was rebuilt after World War II not only physically, but also through its architectural memory. The different ideologies of East and West created two distinct architectural languages across the city. Today, Berlin brings together different eras within the same urban fabric without erasing the traces of its past.

Keskin koridorlar eriyen yüzeylere, ritmik kubbeler parametrik tavanlara dönüşürdü. İnsan hareketine göre şekillenen organik dolaşım alanlarıyla çarşı, yalnızca bir yapı değil yaşayan bir deneyim haline gelirdi.
