Sharing this before & after bathroom remodel because the transformation came down to smart layout decisions, not just finishes.
In this case, the bathroom had a dead space next to the tub that wasn’t being used at all. We demolished that wall, resized the layout, and converted the old tub into a standing shower with custom tile and a niche.
That dead space allowed us to relocate the toilet, which immediately made the bathroom function better. To keep the room feeling open and larger, instead of building a full wall up to the ceiling, we designed a half wall with custom glass, so you still get separation without closing the space off.
They also had a very large baseboard/heat cover under the window, which visually shrunk the room. We reworked that into a much smaller, cleaner solution, and it made a big difference.
I’m a contractor and most of our work is bath remodels, basement finishing, and kitchens. Not posting this to sell, just sharing how thoughtful design can completely change how a space feels.
