All pieces donate a portion of the proceeds to local charities that support kids and female-focused missions. I’m a mom, wife, full time marketing professional, part time amateur cook and love to be creative whenever I can. I’m starting this blog because a little over 2 years ago, my husband and I received news that we had anticipated due to his family history, yet unexpected as he was living a healthy lifestyle for most of his life. We are now dedicated to finding and sharing recipes, nutrition tips and ideas for anyone interested in preventing and fighting this disease.

Had a chance to spend 24 hours in Austin this week for a speaking gig and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to check out some of its funky art scene. Love the murals, inspiring sculptures and hidden alley paintings!

Incredibly humbled to have been awarded two sponsor awards at last night’s at Ripon Senior Center ! Thank you so much to the sponsors who selected my work, it was an absolute surprise! Still glowing a bit this morning 🤩
There is so much work that goes into putting on an event like this one. I know I speak for the local artists here when I say THANK YOU!
Love seeing all of the amazing art and our community coming out to support them. Special thanks always to my mom, my hubs and to Michelle Clark for rooting me on!
