Setting boundaries is wild because the moment you do, some people act like you just changed the locks on a house they never paid rent in.

All of a sudden it’s: “You’ve changed.”
“You’re different.”

Yeah I am.
I upgraded from “available 24/7” to “by appointment only.” 📅

It’s funny though, when you stop over giving, the people who were over taking
start holding meetings about you without you.

But let’s be real a boundary isn’t attitude.
It’s maintenance.

Like I’m not cutting people off,
I’m just installing doors where there used to be open hallways.

Some folks will knock.
Some will respect the hours.
And some will stand outside wondering why they can’t just walk in anymore.

And that’s okay.

Because the right people?
They don’t get offended by boundaries they bring snacks and wait to be invited in.

Do you know the one thing you should NEVER add to hummingbird food?

Red dye.

Even though you see it in store-bought nectar, hummingbirds don’t actually need it. They’re drawn to the red feeder… not the color of the sugar water. And adding dye can be harmful.

The safest homemade recipe is simple:
💧 4 parts water
🍬 1 part sugar

Bring it to a boil for about 4 minutes, let it cool completely, and fill your feeder fresh.

And here’s the part most people don’t realize…
You should change it every 2–3 days because bacteria can grow quickly, especially in warmer weather.

Simple, clean, and made with care 🤍

If you’ve ever put out a feeder, tell me… have you seen hummingbirds yet this season? 🪶

We made these loaded chicken taco bowls on live last night and I’m still thinking about them 🌮✨

Instead of using store-bought shells, I shaped flour tortillas in fluted brioche molds, brushed them with butter, and baked them until crispy. And let me tell you… they turned out SO good.

Then we loaded them up with chicken and all the toppings… the kind of dinner that disappears fast 😄

If your tortilla puffs while baking, just press it down with a spoon and keep going!

💬 Tell me… what would YOU put in your taco bowl?
