Are you wanting to learn more about home canning foods? Do you have questions on what you must pressure can versus water bath can? Whether you are a beginner with questions or an experienced canner with advice to share, please join us 3/20/25 at 6 pm for our monthly meeting.

Jessica is an experience gardener and home canner from here in West Salem and has graciously agreed to share her knowledge and expertise with us.

We will not be having a meeting this month (January 2025), but will back in full swing next month! Hoping to get a fruit tree planting/care/maintenance speaker scheduled! What else are you guys eager to learn about??

Welcome to the Edwards County, Illinois Third Thursday at 6 Homesteading Group! We have monthly meetings every third Thursday of the month at 6 PM typically at Homestead Vineyards and Winery unless otherwise stated! I’ll be posting months meeting updates and trying to make events so everyone can remember! We’re in the works of planning the next few months meetings so what do you guys want to learn about???
