As our babies we hatched out grow into our next generation hens, I wanted to show and tell about part of the incubation.

We started with 30 eggs in the incubator. Within a week or so we were able to candle them and see if there is movement. These eggs were about 2 weeks in and you can see the difference in the veins in the eggs.
The one on the right is a healthy baby chicken developing.
The one on the left has what is called a blood ring. This is a ring shape that appears during incubation when the embryo dies.
There is no real way around it happening. It is just nature taking its course!
After all 21 days we were left with 14 beautiful babies
