Last week the Cole & Denny team celebrated a couple milestones! One was a much needed move to a new space after almost 30 years to the day in our previous space, and the other was a celebration to honor our 40th anniversary.

It has been quite the journey to get where we are today as a small firm in Alexandria serving the DMV but we are making strides as a team and a business.

Special thanks to the original Cole & Denny for starting the business and to the current partners for keeping the dream alive.

Last night some members of the Cole & Denny team had the pleasure of attending The Art League's MUSE construction commencement reception where the Director of The Art League thanked us for our involvement in the project and spoke about the project to the residents of the community and artists who are excited to use the space.

We are excited to continue our relationship with The Art League in Old Town and are also very excited to see these spaces come to life.

Happy holidays from the C&D team! We are grateful for the time we spent together throughout this year and the work accomplished as well and celebrated accordingly! Hopefully everyone's heads feel fine 😅

Look at us doing things as a team. We recently started doing a little bit of nesting in our current office space and wanted to brighten up our space with some plants, so we walked on over a few blocks away to and had our own little terrarium building workshop! They were an absolute delight to work with and we can't wait to be back.

Being so close to our Nation's Capitol there is so much history we can take in. Some members of our team took a field trip down the road to observe one of DC's original Boundary Stones today and enjoyed their time in the sun!

In other news! This week we participated in the Ribbon Cutting for one of our commercial kitchen renovation projects! We hope the students of GMU are excited to start and continue using the brand-new Flip Kitchen in the Johnson Center!

Today we found out that we received an Honorable Mention after submitting the Prince William County Animal Shelter for award consideration to the APWA Mid-Atlantic region chapter.

Each year, the Prince William County Animal Services Center
takes in more than 4,100 companion animals and welcomes
85,000 visitors. Now, Prince William County has a brand new facility that promotes a welcoming, open environment to shelter and showcase animals with the goal of finding each animal a new home.

Congratulations to all of the winners and other honorable mentions.

Yesterday we had the privilege of being a part of the Prince William County Animal Shelter's GRAND OPENING! This project has been a pleasure to work on and we are glad to see it being used!
