Happy April! Ready to plant a garden? Even if you’re brand new to growing food, there are lots of simple ways to get started! Here are some of my favorite spring plants for beginners:
•perennial herbs
•salad greens
•sugar snap peas
•onions
•radishes

You can start with a container garden, a sunny spot in the yard for a raised bed garden, or even put edible plants in your flower beds!

I’ll be hosting a free virtual garden chat next Thursday with ideas, tips and Q&A– let me know if you’re interested!

Here’s a pic of the community garden spot where I’m growing my veggies this year 😍

“Nothing says hope like planting a seed.”

The planting will have to wait a bit, but the seeds are here! Well, 2 out of 3 orders! This year I ordered early from and and then I couldn’t help myself and added another order from this week!

The saga of 2020-2021 has me in dire need of action-oriented hope, and this represents one of my outlets!

Did I mention these are just my *new* seeds...?
