Home makeover in progress !

Lil sneak peek .

New door trim, coffered ceiling , wainscoting , accent wall, numerous built ins , French doors & more !

While all of that is going on we’re correcting all of the drywall issues around the house too. This house doesn’t know what’s coming !

Had my helper in the shop over the weekend!

This beautiful sweet gum slab has countless “ checks “ or cracks throughout . They need to be stabilized or the wood will crack over time . So we use epoxy to fill all of the voids to make a rock solid filler that also looks gorgeous to match .

It takes numerous steps & long cure time but it’s worth it for this families new countertop !

Pay is hourly, position is part time / as needed. It will be based around jobs . Flexible on when work is completed . Location is in Angier .

Big day today!

We’re growing ! Signing the lease to a workshop this week! It’ll give me a ton more room to speed up production, which has been beyond needed .

Stocked up on MASSIVE oak slabs today. They’re over 30 inches wide ! A huge table is on the books again. Working with these one of a kind slabs is such a pleasure.

Also picked up a large load of gorgeously figured burled hickory. No idea what’ll happen with them, but they will make beautiful furniture

I have this beautiful sweet gum slab in the shop! A custom countertop in the works for GM Construction Custom Paint & Carpentry !

At over 30” wide this slab is such a beauty .

Installed these beautiful French doors today! Love the modern casing we installed aswell!

Onto the next!

Doing a total trim overhaul in this home. Custom kitchen island, coffee bar, Halltree , and a fireplace built in!

We’re also doing some wainscoting with a coffered ceiling piece on the ceiling. Last but not least, an 18 ft accent wall.

Today we went through and ripped out all the old door casings , baseboard , crown , etc.

As always we cleaned up thoroughly. Nothing is worse than messy contractors that don’t respect your home.

To end a grueling process , it’s all painted !

We sprayed Renner which is an industrial coating that’s built to last! The paint came out impeccable . We’re giving the paint a little to cure, and then we’ll put white oak stools to match the flooring and handrails!

Build complete ! Got all of the boxes on all the wall. Tomorrow we’ll finish prep, sand some spots , and get the primer ...
