First and foremost, we hope everyone in our community is safe.

We’re grateful that everyone we met with yesterday was unharmed, even when their homes and properties weren’t as fortunate. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and may God continue to watch over and bless our community as we recover together.

Recent storms reminded us that sometimes people don’t simply need someone who can fix something. They need to know someone will answer.What began as a few storm-related calls quickly became multiple properties needing attention.

Yesterday, IOC’s founder and lead steward spent 12+ hours on the road personally responding, alongside our team and Trusted Network Partners.

We answer. We communicate. We show up.

Whether we handle the work directly or coordinate the right partner, IOC remains your single point of responsibility.

SOMETIMES CONCIERGE MEANS HELPING YOU CHOOSE. SOMETIMES IT MEANS KNOWING WHEN TO SAY NO.

A client was trying to choose wallpaper for her dining room and needed some guidance. Our design partner was exceptionally busy at the time, so rather than allow the project to stall, we stepped in, bringing what we've learned from our design relationships, our own experience, and an understanding of the client's home to help narrow the options and keep things moving.

That's part of being the single point of responsibility. When one resource is unavailable, we don't simply hand the problem back to the client.

But stewardship also means having standards.

We love DIY. There is something incredibly rewarding about improving your own home. But when we install something, the materials need to meet a professional standard that allows us to confidently stand behind the finished work.

That's why IOC installs traditional, professionally applied wallpaper, not peel-and-stick or other DIY wallcoverings.

It isn't about whether a DIY product is “good” or “bad.” It's about knowing the difference between a product designed for homeowner installation and one we're comfortable putting our name behind professionally.

THROWBACK TO ONE OF OUR FAVORITE CREATIVE PAINT PROJECTS 🎨

When several kids share one room, who gets to pick the color?

In this home, the answer was: why should only one of them?

The family chose a palette that worked for the room, and each child had a voice in choosing the color for the wall around their own space. The result? Green, pink and purple coming together in one room that feels a little more personal to everyone who shares it.

That’s part of what concierge service means to us.

Sometimes you already know exactly what you want and need someone to bring it to life. Other times, you need someone to ask the right questions, understand how the space is actually used, and help develop a creative solution that fits the people living there.

A few years ago, longtime clients and friends of ours recommended Inside Out Concierge to this couple. They gave us an opportunity to serve them, were pleased with the experience, and kept our number.Fast-forward to today. They're preparing to sell their home and had several repairs they wanted handled before putting it on the market.

A shaky railing may seem like a small home repair—until someone you love needs to depend on it.

For this client, we repaired the steps, reinforced the safety railing, and installed two new handrails to create a stronger, more secure entrance for family and guests of any age.

And while we were there, we rehung the flags so they could be displayed the way they deserved to be.

Because taking care of a home isn't only about completing the job on the list. It's about noticing the details, thinking about the people who live there, and leaving things better than we found them.

Coleen and I met at a Howell Area Chamber of Commerce mixer. Her introduction stood out to me, and once we had a chance to talk, it became clear very quickly that we approach business, and the way we care for our clients, in much the same way.

Sometimes the first phase changes the entire direction of a space.

We started this transformation by taking the room from dark and outdated to bright, fresh, and uplifting, but what you’re seeing here is only Phase One.

Next, we’ll be turning our attention to the vanity top, followed by the bathtub restoration. And when this one is finished, it won’t look like something pulled from a catalog.

It’s being created specifically for this home a completely original transformation with details you won’t find anywhere else.

Stay tuned for Phase Two. This facelift is just getting started.
