Nigella is a cool, spring or early fall flower, a true annual. Soon the exotic seed pods will form. They make for a lovely everlasting in dried form. Look for us at the two afternoon local markets in late June with this annual, a.k.a. Love-in-a-mist. The bees are enjoying it too.
