When I started Thyme + Stain I knew I wanted to build something different, something intriguing. Although I started (and quietly continue) with custom furnishings, it has evolved into so much more.
This journey has all led to the private and retail procurement of art for your home. Thyme + Stain is devoted to discovering and sharing artisan collections for exceptional spaces. Yes, this can mean grand spaces but it can also mean petite spaces that emphasize design and craft over volume.
Thyme + Stain is built for the established collector as well as the one just starting out. There is no emphasis on brands. The luxury comes from the artisan’s skill, vision, and exceptional ex*****on of his or her work.
Each discovery at Thyme + Stain is selected with careful consideration. Trends do not dictate what I choose. Instead, I look for qualities such as texture, color, craftsmanship, and the ability to complement natural materials like wood and stone. Each piece must feel considered, enduring, and beautiful in its own right.
