We are pleased to announce that the bill (H.B. 701, S.B. 523) to protect vernal pools has been renamed in tribute to Jack Cover, former general curator at the National Aquarium. Jack Cover’s lifelong dedication to conservation inspired many, and we feel it is only fitting that the habitats he loved and championed be protected in this way. Help us carry Jack’s legacy forward by contacting your legislators and urging them to pass this bill!
