Every historic home has a story. We’d love to hear yours. 🍂🏡
Some homes have stood for generations, welcoming families through their doors and witnessing decades of changing seasons. Others have been lovingly restored, their original character preserved by those who understand that history is something worth holding on to.
At The Lantern & Oak, we believe these homes deserve to be celebrated—not simply for their architecture, but for the lives, memories, and traditions woven into their walls.
This Thanksgiving, we’re inviting historic homeowners from across the country to share photographs of their homes and the stories that make them special.
Perhaps your home has been passed down through generations. Maybe you discovered a forgotten architectural detail during a renovation, or you’ve spent years bringing an old house back to life.
Whatever its story, we’d be honored to hear it.
Selected homes and their stories will be featured in our November 23rd Thanksgiving editorial of The Lantern & Oak.
📸 To participate: Send us a private message with photographs of your historic home, its location, and a little of its history.
From grand Southern estates to humble historic cottages, every home has a place in America’s architectural story.
Because preserving a home is about more than protecting its walls. It’s about remembering the people and stories that gave it life.
With warmth,
The Lantern & Oak
