Before & After. This gorgeous American Martinsville highboy dresser was old and weary. The color was a drab brown. I stripped it down to bare wood and refinished to highlight the natural wood grains. SO beautiful!! A must see in person and guess what? Yesssss I will have the matching lowboy soon. Both the lowboy and highboy dressers will be available at Collective Grace. 😍

Before & After. Available soon at Collective Grace😍

I completely repainted this dashing 5ft Nutcracker after priming him. I kept him vintage/wood inspired, because in person you'd agree he was created to look like he was carved from a log of wood. Added some gold & copper gilding waxes to add some holiday glam. Soooo good!!!
Used DixieBelle products :paint colors Anchor, Umber, Eldeflower in the Silk line. Cmp mud puddle, pine cone, & rusty nail. Best dang wax in brown. Gold & Copper gilding wax.

Really enjoying a complete do over paint job on this 5ft Nutcracker!!😍. It's meant to look like it was carved from wood. Am I doing a good job recreating that look?

Painting the inside of the door was a last minute decision and I hadn't prepped that area. Went for it and guess who gets to fix it now? To save 5-10minutes of proper prep I will now spend another hour fixing. Worst part? I knew better.🤦‍♀️It's not the paints fault-it's the painter's fault. The rest of the piece is cured and solid.

This is why I hardly ever purchase a white painted piece even if I intend to paint it white. My paint job is only as good as the base coat under it. 99% of the time that base coat prep was not done well and a project becomes WAY more work than it needs to be😳. So here I am having to sand most of the 2layers of white(and gray-white) paint off just to turn around and prime/then paint it white again. UGH!!!!

Before & After. This set of two nightstands/side tables are so gorgeous in this moody shade of green called Acadia by Dixie Belle Paint Company!! And that removeable liner is just 😍

Available soon at Collective Grace. 🥰

I should be working on furniture but it's warm & sunny and actually feels good when water splashes in my face cleaning my Calla & Canna Lilly bulbs. Usually wait till it's too cold and can't feel my fingers by the time I'm done. So thank you Mother Nature for this warm day!

Before & After. This Garrison hutch was beautiful before but that vintage brownish toner is just so drab. I stripped her. And sealed to let the beaury of the wood grain speak for itself. So beautiful! Definitely a well made collector piece. Has glass slider doors for top. Available soon at Collective Grace 😍

Before & After. Again the natural wood grain was covered up with toner on this beautiful nightstand. Stripped & sealed. Available soon at Collective Grace 😍
