Ever wondered why our base nutrients are separated into two parts? 🐶💭
Here’s the basic answer: Our formulas are complex, and when properly mixed together, deliver all of the essential nutrients needed for healthy growth in your growing medium of choice. Both bottles contain unique micro and macronutrients that work synergistically.
However, the minerals in both A and B, do not play well together in CONCENTRATED form. The molecules mix together, bind together, and will no longer be delivered in a form that is readily available for root uptake. Essentially, because our nutrients are so highly concentrated, they need to be added separately to the reservoir to ensure they are readily available for nutrient uptake. When they’re diluted into water, the risk of bonding/clogging is eliminated.
Coco coir, for example, takes a precise ratio of nutrients to take full advantage of its benefits: one of those being the right ratios of soluble macronutrients and magnesium. These proportions are perfected in Cocos A&B. Cocos A&B was formulated to provide those who grow in pure coco coir or blends that contain 30% or more coco coir with the perfect ratio of essential nutrients they’ll need for vigorous growth, with consideration to the unique cation-exchange capacity of the medium — by mixing in 2 separate parts, you ensure that ALL of these critical nutrients are being absorbed by the plant efficiently! 🌱
