Why are we grinding?
Because laying tile on an uneven or contaminated subfloor is like building a skyscraper on a marshmallow. We grind to:
• Ensure a "Super-Glue" Bond: We remove old adhesive, paint, and mystery residue so the thin-set actually sticks.
• Flatten the World: To prevent "lippage" (that annoying thing where you stub your toe on a tile that’s 1/16th of an inch higher than its neighbor).
• Banish Cracks: A smooth, clean surface means your tiles stay put for decades, not days.
