Here you go, everyone! Yes, WE are retired, but Rooted Deep Farms is raring to go. We highly recommend Heather and her plants.
Rooted Deep is just a few miles south of Hilltop Farm, on F Highway. Come check out what Heather has to offer! You’ll be pleased!

Merry Christmas, everyone. We think of you often, but we ARE enjoying retirement!

Last chance to get some of Lindsay’s delicious cookies (other than ordering full batches, which she is very willing to do.)

Here it is - the final menu for farmers market! For those just now checking in, this Saturday (July 2nd) will be my *FINAL* day at the Greater Springfield Farmers' Market. I will also be at the Freakin' Antiquin' Vintage Market on July 23, which will be the last time you will be able to pick up small boxes of my cookies. I hope to see you at either occasion (or both!)!

Now that I have your attention with Saturday’s cookie menu, it is announcement time! All good things must come to an end, and that includes my cookies at the farmers market. Due to a combination of multiple factors including increasing costs and decreasing sales, we have made the very difficult decision to close up shop. I will be at the Greater Springfield Farmers' Market the next two Saturdays (June 25th and July 2nd) and at the Freakin' Antiquin' Vintage Market on July 23rd for a full day of shopping and snacking fun. These will be my *FINAL* days of open sales. I will hopefully be able to continue baking full batch special orders after that time, but will not be offering the smaller count boxes like I bring to market. Thank you for understanding, and thank you for being my customers!

Sorry folks, no newsletter yet. (It’s hard to do a five hour project when you get in from working in the garden at 9pm).
But I do have a comment. Remember that beautiful poppy garden post I did a while back? (It was very visited and liked!). Well, if you want the poppies to perpetuate, you have to deal with a mess while you wait for the seed to ripen.
Saturday I finally said, “Enough!” and pulled them out. Now I have a place to “store” the perennials I have in pots waiting for their “forever home” in a bed that will get rehabbed this fall.
The last picture is actually the “before” picture from about a month ago.
