Made the frame out of scrap wood in my shop. Branches, leaves, and birds are from poplar (also scrap) that was cut, shaped with dremel and sanding drums. I used watered down paint to add color!

Fun Southwest wall hanging project using scrap wood from my stash.
I didn’t feel like getting my router set up outside so I shaped/sanded everything using my new Delta bench grinder with sanding drums.
If I make this again I would NOT use wood roping…I spent way too much time on shaping the rope onto the sides because it did not look good just on the top surface. Piece is 11” x 19”.
