Its grass seed germination time! With the recent temperature increase your grass seed can finally start it's germination process. Keep that fresh seed wet and avoid using crabgrass prevention products on seeded areas. Remember some seed can take several weeks to start showing results of your hard work, be patient and consistent and your lawn will reward you!

Here's a little bit of info from the good ole internet if you are wondering when to lay your crabgass preventer. The answer is soon.

"Crabgrass germination typically begins when soil temperatures reach and stay around 55-60°F (13-16°C) for several days in a row, usually at a depth of 1-2 inches. This indicates the optimal timing for applying pre-emergent herbicides to prevent crabgrass growth."
